Description
The Trampa 15° Kitedeck is built just
the same as the 15° original, but has been specially shaped
to suit the performance of kiteboarders and especially the
kitedeck Revolution trucks.
Kiteboarders tend to like more flex in the
deck than mountainboarders, and the shape of this deck allows
for this.
As you can see, the deck has been 'Boned'.
This allows for more flex in the centre of the deck, creating
a very floaty feel...
Kitedeck shaped decks can be drilled
for skate trucks, and offer the same floaty feel on a lighter
truck.
The TRAMPA™ deck is made from a re-inforced
glass and plastic thermo composite, which was originally developed
for light-weight millitary purposes, for giving superior strength
to weight ratios. It is able to with stand huge impacts or
forces and flex's like most other materials cant.
By varying the layer quantity used, we are
able to control the amount of flex and pop in the deck, allowing
us to custom make the deck for the customers height weight,
style, rider type and riders abillity.
