Description
Airtime U-STICK valves are the backbone of
the U-STICK bladdery system. This amazing adhesive
allows
you to simply "peel
and stick" the valve you want where you want. You then
pump air into the valve and rupture the bladder directly
below the valve to activate it. The system was designed to
simplify the entire bladder process.
Option Valve:
The U-STICK bladder system was developed so that you could
easily assemble a bladder to fit almost any kite on the market.
With the proliferation of single point inflation systems
it once again became a challenge to service all kites with
a small selection of valves and bladders. So Airtime designed
their very own valve to integrate with the most widely used
single point inflation systems on the market. They call it
the OPTION valve because now you have options. Each OPTION
valve comes with an assortment of attachments that allow
you to integrate the OPTION valve with the most common
single point inflation systems. Included with the OPTION
valve is a tee connector, a straight connector, and an
elbow connector.
9mm
Inflation 1-Way Valve / 9mm Inflation 2-Way Valve:
The 9mm inflate 1-way valve is the most common valve used
on kites. In early years the 9mm valve was used one leading
edges for
both inflation and deflation. Most late model kites have
a dedicated deflate valve in addition to this valve.
The 9mm 2-way inflate valve has the exact
same outside dimensions as the normal 9mm inflate valve,
however,
air
will not escape
from this valve without squeezing the base or inserting a
deflate stick. This valve is only recommended for leading
edges that also have a dedicated deflate valve. If you don't
want the check flap feature you may be able to remove it
from the valve before adhering it to a bladder.
11mm
Deflation Valve:
The most common deflate valve around. Do not use this valve
as the only inflate valve on a bladder because you can only
close the plug when the kite is deflated.
Screw Valve:
The screw valve has been branded by Cabrinha as the Airlock
valve and is used almost exclusively by Cabrinha. You won't
be getting this valve mixed up with other valves. You will need to use the Cabrinha pump adapter to activate
this valve after attaching it to the bladder.
Carry them with every ride.
*Please note these valves can only be used
with Airtime "Orange" Bladders.
