The
Strike 2 has made a new leap forwards for 2005.
The Strike 2 is a medium aspect ratio, universal kite aimed at
all levels of kiteboarder. It can be used in a 4-line set up with
the option to upgrade to the new Flexifoil 5th line control system.
- Improved
hang time
- Thinner
front tubes mean faster, lighter turning on
larger sizes.

Fatter front tubes produce a slower, more progressive
turn on smaller sizes.

direct response from lighter bar pressure.

sizes have improved wind range.

- Larger
variation between tip profile (turning area) and
centre profiles (power zone) maximises kite performance.

All sizes of Strike 2 have the option to be upgraded to
the Flexifoil 5th line system.
The
5th line introduces a new safety and relaunch system and creates
a much wider wind window. It enables direct control of the angle
of attack of the centre of the kite. This extends the top end
of the wind range.Riders who want a more vertical jump, with larger
wind range and lighter bar pressure should use the 5th line system.

‘Bombproof’ trailing edge reduces
distortion and flapping which increases durability.
- Kevlar
reinforced batten pockets repositioned inside
wing to reduce wear.
- Collapsible
battens on larger sizes for easy storage
and travelling.
- Tip
dump valve for fast solo packdown.
- Dacron
reinforcements between sail and LE tube to
reduce wear.
- Amsteel
toggles can be concealed in batten pockets
to reduce the chances of ‘snagging’ lines.
- One
way strut valves with combined deflators enables
high pressures required for a stiff structure. Reduced
strut diameters lead to improved turn speed and handling.
