The Trampa 35 degree long deck with Trampa Vertigo channel trucks, Superstar hubs with Primo Alpha lightweight or Trampa tyres and camlock bindings. The choice of the Trampa team rider.
The 35 degree Trampa long deck has been developed to mount spring steering systems. It gives the perfect steering geometry, and works perfectly on the scrub channel trucks.
It is specially formulated, and presented in a workable matter in a thread like format, just like cotton. From there, Trampa weave the thread to their desired width, and place it onto a roll. Polished and pre shaped alluminium moulds are used to give the material the dimensions we require.
By varying the layer quantity used, Trampa are able to control the amount of flex and pop in the deck, allowing us to custom make the deck for the customers height, weight, style, rider type and riders abillity.
Water and a very fine sand are used to cut out the decks individually from the mould. The water is pressured at 60,000 Psi. (enough pressure to cut through 9 inch titanium!)
Trampa Vertigo Channel
Small plastic bushings allow the truck easy smooth steering, supported by the resistance of the Trampa Dampa's.
Designed around the incredible performance of the TRAMPA DAMPA the new Trampa's own SPRING RETAINER has been beefed up with a specially made Stainless steel Flange insert which, gives more strength to the plastic moulded around it. This in turn means that a very awkwardly fitting washer is no longer required making constructing and maintaining the truck style far easier than ever before.
By using a 8mm Titanium Kingpin, serious amounts of weight have been saved.The light weight plastic bushing system for the kingpin, ensures accuracy whilst providing a tight locking/smooth steering system. These trucks really have been precisely made to withstand the hardest of environments.
This VERTIGO truck system also has a steering adjustment facility. You can alter the resistance of the steering relative to your body weight and personal requirements by simply turning the steering adjustment bolt. (3mm allen key required) Turning the adjuster clockwise tightens the steering resistance. To make your ride more comfortable to your requirements these spring adjusters can all be tweaked differently giving you the custom ride your looking for.
Generally speaking if you want to achieve high speeds you will need tight steering resistance otherwise speed wobble is possible. These trucks come as standard with Yellow Trampa Dampa fitted, they are housed within the spring and kept in the correct position by a specially made spring retainer. By turning the steering adjuster This retainer can be tightened down onto the Dampa, increasing the resistance in the steering, allowing the rider to achieve higher top end speeds without the fear of speed wobble.
For accuracy the king pin has been CNC'd to house the 10mm bushings which in turn house the kingpin. The spacer for the axle is the same size (18.2mm) as the spacer in between the bearings
The housing for the Camlock on the top of the plastic strap has been modified to hold the ratchet tightly in its position, this avoids any unwanted movement from the Camlock/strap which has always been a problem with other brands. By locking the Camlock tight encourages the ladder strap to be pulled accurately into the correct position, giving a longer lifespan to the teeth on the ladder and ensuring the rider gets the same binding position every time.
Trampa Superstar Hubs:
Containing just 15% glass fibre and made from the finest DUPONT nylon materials, the natural matt surface finish of the original HYPA hub is striking to the eye and the obvious choice for the weight conscious rider!
Constructed using only the finest fixings available. All TRAMPA parts including these hubs are constructed using Marine grade Stainless steel which has been brushed with Blue bolt paste to ensure the strongest of fixings. All nuts used also have a Nylock sleeve to ensure double quality and secure fixing!
Trampa Tread Tyres:
The Trampa Tread tyre has an intelligent grip pattern, housing grip on grip of which we call a progressive grip system (PGS). The grip pattern is wide but still has a joining tread around the centre of the tyre to allow for high top end roll speeds.
Primo Alpha Tyres:
The tread on the Alpha tire is quite wide compared to other brands but still has a joining tread around the centre of the tire to allow for high top end speeds.

Channel Style Truck:
The kingpin is encased with bushes where it meets the truck to prevent wear and ensure smooth operation. It can basically be used to fit to any deck although you might need to add a few extra holes.
The Truck comes with springs and eggs already installed. The fixings and bolts shown in the pictures are also supplied with the truck.
Suitable to fit most channel truck style boards.
When inflated the central ridge allows for high speed on hard surfaces.
As the ground softens, the tyre digs in and
the side grips come into effect.
