The HQ4 Beamer is the perfect kite for anyone getting into the sport and looking for an all-round kite they can use for traction activities at a later date.
The HQ4 Beamer also never gets obsolete as performance increases with the pilots ability to actively use the brakes to generate extra power. High quality materials and superior workmanship come standard.
The HQ4 Beamer now comes with even more power and performance complete with characteristics you would expect from an all-rounder kite!
Its stability makes it very user-friendly and will speed up your learning curve when starting out in activities such as buggying, landboarding or snow kiting. Its power is very smooth and predictable allowing for fast and safe progression.
Improved acceleration and control over the brake lines makes this kite - the ultimate choice among all-round power kites.
With its simple construction bridle construction and low aspect ratio, the HQ4 Beamer is an easy kite to control and comes complete and ready to fly!
If you have never flown a kite and want to fly one without the hassle of difficult control yet with the performance and controllability for buggying and landboarding - this HQ4 Beamer is ideal!
A high quality design from the market leaders in Buggy / Power kites.
HQ4 Beamer Features:
- Easy handling - very easy to control. Even when flying the kite on 4-lines you can still easily steer it like a 2-line kite (left / right). This is great for kite flyers who want to get into 4-line flying or like a more easy to use 4-line kite with no surprises.
- Constant Power- making it easy for those less experienced to get going on a landboard or in a buggy. After steering the kite down into the wind - you dont really need to work the kite because it keeps pulling with constant power.
- Constant Flying Speed - very predictable flying behaviour. The HQ4 Beamer does not suddenly accelerate and the flying speed as well as the turning is predictable which is great for people who are starting off buggying or landboarding.
- Stability- a very stable foil so you are not focusing on keeping your kite in the air, but simply having more time for pure fun on land, in a buggy or landboarding.
- Low Aspect Ratio - for easy handling and predictable flying behaviour
- Specially designed profile - with a relatively strong pull over a large segment of the wind window.
- Improved acceleration and control over the brakes.
- More power for intermediate pilots.
- Stable and balanced flying performance.
- Easy control - perfect for beginner to advanced flyers in the sport.
- Dirt-outs - in the wing-tips to clean debris from the kite.
- Stitched Pre-stretched bridle lines - for even better performance.
- Quad Line handles with wrist leash safety system and ground stake loop
- Metal Ground stake for securing the kite to the ground.
- Redesigned bag pack
- Manual

Get One Review by J Faulkner
Price Quality Value After flying a couple of 2.5 metres non-branded power kites with my kids, I was hooked on the sport.
So for christmas I bought myself a HQ Beamer IV 4m and all I can say is GET ONE!!!
They are amazing, easy to fly and they generate huge amounts of pull. An amazing power kite. Best thing I've ever bought. -
Best Kite to start as your first! Review by Ian Durrant
Price Quality Value Purchased a Beamer IV-2m (for my birthday!) - it is so cool! I can honestly say this is THE BEST kite to start as your first. I rang up and spoke with a well-informed guy from Powerkiteshop who gave me lots of advice and ideas - and decided to go for it!
Tried it first couple of times in low/mediocre winds and it was great. Tried today - winds quite fierce - and it was SIMPLY THE BEST! Now though, I'm itching to get a bigger kite - move on up to a 4 or 5m! -
Loads of pull on a windy day! Review by Lee Gordon
Price Quality Value I have had the HQ Beamer 4 (3m) for a week now. It's my first kite and I would definitely recommend this kite to anyone getting into power kiting.
Loads of pull on windy days and great for scudding down the beach but respect it in higher winds. Great first kite! -
Excellent Fun and a good workout! Review by Kevin Lake
Price Quality Value After having a go on a friends kite, I was hooked! So had a look around and settled on the Beamer.
Very easy to fly and can even get it going in VERY little wind. When the wind gets a bit stronger it'll quite happily pull you along the ground.
All in all excellent fun and a good workout on the arms, especially after flying for two or three hours! Would recommend to other beginners. The only thing you'll need help with is dragging yourself away from it! -
Pulls like a train! Review by Mr Annand
Price Quality Value Flying this baby for the very first time (very nervous as this kite clearly needs respect!) I unpacked it and connected the lines, so here goes! A sharp tuck on the lines and she was up! Wow the power! This kite is amazing! She pulls like a train!
All I can say is what are you waiting for? If you are in any doubt as to whether to buy this kite, then don’t be!
To sum up, this is an ideal kite for someone who has flown a smaller kite before and has some skills already. A very good all-round kite and fantastic value for money!
