The ION Apex Select top level waist harness also features the new X-Spine 2.0 back support generation. Combining a maximum of support for the body with a high wearing comfort; a perfect fit due to the 3D zone shape and the inside dual density foam construction, combined with a maximum of protection for the lower back muscles.

C-Bar 2018 Spreader:
With the C-bar, ION introduces a new technology for spreaderbars. Two features mark the difference: the new tension lever system tightens the harness without having to change the buckle settings, therefore guaranteeing a perfect fit. This new system provides a symmetric force spread while riding and is therefore very comfortable. The C-Bar is made out of fiber re-inforced injection material instead metal, which makes it ultra lightweight.

The Apex Select 2017 now also comes with the new Wiretec Technology. A new patent pending line setup, designed to spread the load evenly and banish irritating pressure points. Torsion free construction ensure the best freedom of movement. The thermoforming is anatomically shaped into the lumbar area

Cross Link:

The cross over webbing reinforcement allows a complete back part load spreading.

 

 

 

Extended Soft Edge:

A new, extended soft edge that bends sideways at the hips and ribs for a more forgiving feel, enhanced by a special foam padding.

 

 

Split Edge:

The dived buckle plate allows the harness to stay close to your body and to transfer all forces equally.

 

A special highlight is extremely soft neoprene edge, which surrounds the entire harness. The fit is extremely comfortable whether you are riding in a wetsuit, rash vest or on bare skin. The best support combined with good flex.

 

The Full Protection Hook Mounting protects from rib injuries and prevents bruising. Reinforced leash attachment rings and a rear handle for assistance during launching are other features that make kiteboarding simply easier.

 

New safety slider grab handle to attach safety leash also makes it perfect for handle pass tricks.

 

With its closure at the harness hook, the strap only needs to be adjusted once.

 

The Push Button Spreader Bar also makes it easy to get in and out of the harness. The system ensures optimum safety even under extreme conditions.

• Flex Edge: While grabbing your board and tweaking out your tricks the rib's can encounter the harnesses edge. The sides of the harness is now more flexible on points where the load distribution allows it.

• Neoprene Belt: This waist belt is secured on the frame on the inside of the harness. The stretch in the belt makes your harness feel comfortable from the moment you put it on. The Velcro on the belt is positioned in such a way that it won’t damage your suit, lycra or skin.

• Protection Pad: This is a solid neoprene padded plate that keeps away the harness hook from your body. Especially when the spreader bar moves up quickly.

• Hip Protection: The double layer foam padding protects your bones and all other vulnerable parts in this area. Especially if the body is bent sideways.

• Torsion Free Construction: The inner part of the harness is made up of different segments to ensure, that the harness fits perfecty along the backbone. Less pain - More fun.

• 3D Zone Shape: Segmented zone shape in all directions supports your backbone and reduces the chance that the harness will slip upwards when you hit the water.

• Handle Pass Leash Slider: A small metal ring on a rubber coated hande lets the leash slide along the back of the harness, making hanlde pass tricks easier.

• Belt Garage: The belt garage keeps any end of the webbing band from flying around.

• Crosslink Webbing: Allows internal straps to run crosswise in the back area and thus distribute the force evenly over the entire back area.

• Bar Keeper Belt: The strap construction prevents the spreader bar from rushing upwards in overpowered situations. Two
  webbing straps run from the bungee belt to the spreader bar to make sure that the kiter doesn‘t get hurt.
