The Ether Harness is AK’s lightweight, compact harness that prioritizes comfort and durability.

By removing all unnecessary padding, seams and reinforcement, AK have created an ultralight harness ideal for riders who travel and have an affinity for minimalism.

Making use of a 3D ergonomically shaped load plate combined with our Fly-Line load distribution technology, we have been able to build a harness that offers the ultimate back support while being incredibly thin and light.

The Ether is designed to work with all AK spreader bar systems allowing the harness to be used by all riders no matter the discipline.

• Easy Entry Adjustment: Single closure waist belt for easy entry and adjustment.
• Anti-Slip Webbing: Softer, more pliable anti-slip webbing. This new tighter weave durometer makes fit adjustment easy to manipulate while at the same time prevents slipping and loosening of the harness straps during your session.
• Buckle Guards: Eliminates exposed, vulnerable line catching points.
• Removeable Handle Pass Connection: Harness comes with easy to remove handle pass leash mount around the back for freestyle riders OR Windsurfing. It also has two front-mounted leash attachment points for use when handle pass leash is removed.

Tuck-In Spreader Bar:
Purely designed for the all-round waist harness rider. Built in the classic stainless steel construction with a simple clip in connection. The Tuck-in Spreader Bar is ideally suited for the Ether harness when being used as a pure waist harness. Complete with an uncomplicated and reliable push-release system to keep you locked in while riding that unclips with ease when you need.

Sliding Spreader Bar:
With a travelling line, the Sliding Spreader Bar allows the rider to have a wider range of motion while riding toe-side and extra freedom of movement in powerful turns through critical sections of the wave.

The AK double spliced spectra slider allows the harness loop to attach and run freely along the rope without excessive wear to the loop or the Spectra line. The easily removable sliding line allows fast, easy, replacement if necessary.

The Tuck-In design of the bar, in conjunction with the Spectra sliding line, decreases the overall distance between the rider and the control system. This gives the rider a larger bar throw range, wider wind range, and allows riders to access their trim strap at any moment.
