The Airush Ultra Team V5 (DS) is a unique lightweight performance design for foil, freeride, and surf. The combination of our proven Single Strut Geometry with the new double surface leading edge, narrow diameter high pressure leading edge, and high-tension canopy create the ultimate efficient flying machine. This new design delivers a powerful kite that can fly forward in the window, achieving the perfect balance for exceptional light wind performance and ultralight flight.

The Ultra Team is a more responsive, faster, and lighter version of the Ultra reinforced with H2 Ultra PE material.

DOUBLE SURFACE (DS) LEADING EDGE:

The all-new Double Surface (DS) leading edge design delivers unparalleled performance, combining better glide, faster speeds, dynamic movement, improved upwind capability, and an extended wind range. The DS leading edge eliminates turbulence, ensuring smooth airflow for greater acceleration and reduced drag. The reduced leading edge and strut diameter allows the kite to move faster across the wind window creating powerful apparent wind for enhanced performance.

H2 Ultra PE:

Introducing the next generation of woven Ultra PE. When Airush introduced Ho’okipa to the market as the first woven Ultra PE, they were confident that using a woven outer layer instead of a film or coating would deliver the best abrasion resistance and durability. H2 takes the same woven-out layer concept and increases the percentage of Ultra PE yarn by 30%, radically increasing strength. This also enabled us to reduce the weight by 30% while maintaining the same bombproof performance.

Technoforce D2:

This premium fabric is designed with a high-density structure that uses high tenacity double-coated polyester yarn in a double ripstop configuration. The double coating protects the yarn as much as possible from UV and abrasion damage, ensuring that the canopy remains crisp and responsive for as long as possible.

Load Frame Technology:

The Airush Load Frame has been the key to setting the ultimate benchmark in durability without compromising on weight. Ultra-high modulus yarns carry the primary load of the canopy, preventing stretch, and increasing long-term performance. The Load Frame is further enhanced by WebTech which is featured in the areas traditionally occupied by Dacron. This enables us to minimize or completely remove the heavier fabric and utilize the ballistic high-modulus web fibers instead – increasing strength and minimizing weight.

Airush Ultra Control Bar:

Staying true to the Ultra name and philosophy, the Airush Ultra Bar delivers a control system that is extremely simple, versatile, and lightweight for the advanced kite riders in mind.

By removing the trim system, the Ultra Bar removes the ability to trim on demand, but it opens the doors to many other features while riding. With the elimination of the bulky straps or cleats, the depower line is completely clean where riders can utilize the full extension of their arm for the maximum amount of range they wish.

Found on the Brain 3.0 quick release for the Ultra Bar, the 24cm micro chicken loop brings the entire bar closer to the riders’ body, making it perfect for surf and foil rider performance, who need the majority of the depower line available on the Ultra Bar.

Removing the trim strap greatly reduces the clutter throughout the Ultra Bar, making it a unique system used by intermediate to advanced kiteboarders.

Brain 3.0 Quick Release:

An industry standard Brain quick release and color-coding on all parts makes the Airush system perfect and hassle free for all riders. The Brain 3.0 is a redesigned below-the-bar swivel making it extremely easy to grip and untwist the LOW-Y front flying lines while riding or stationary.

PU Depower Line:

The PU coated depower line makes sheeting in and out effortless with reduced diameter tubing. This PU coated line extends the lifespan of the centerline, increasing the reliability of all Airush bars.

Modus Bar Ends:

The Modus 2.0 Bar End creates an extremely streamlined bar, with the recessed screw you can easily customize the bar setup with 10cm of width adjustment, to meet the needs of turning speed and response. An updated bombproof stainless steel insert is covered in nylon to allow quick and easy adjustment even when not adjusted for long periods. A soft EVA molded outer shell adds protection for the bar, rider, and equipment.

21mm Diameter:

The Access Bar features a narrow 21mm Diameter grip for all-round comfort.

Quick Release Leash:

Bringing in a fresh design to the Airush safety release system, not only has the quick release been completely redesigned, so has the loop that it attaches to, making it easier to reassemble. This ensures a safer and more reliable release when you get into that sticky situation.
