Description

The Cross Kites Pro Twister is the airtime kite of the range, built for pilots chasing speed, lift, and serious jumping height. Available in 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.5m sizes.

A larger wind window and faster forward flight let the Twister travel further and generate power through speed rather than sitting deep in the window and pulling hard. Move it aggressively and the acceleration converts directly into lift, positioning it accurately before take-off gives you real height when a jump comes together.

The same speed changes how it feels for traction. Travelling further forward reduces the sideways pull, making it easier to convert the kite's power into forward speed, better upwind angles in a buggy, smoother acceleration, and a kite that carries its speed cleanly through corners on a board.

An A, B, C, and brake bridle keeps the profile controlled at speed, letting the brakes shape the rear of the canopy rather than just tugging the trailing edge, and keeping steering precise even as the loads change quickly through the window.

Flown on 4-line handles, both hands work independently, giving direct control over steering, braking, and how much pull you use, the most complete way to fly the Twister for buggying, landboarding, or technical jumping. A harness line or backstrap can take the load off your arms during longer sessions.

The canopy uses a lightweight 40D nylon shell with stronger 70D polyester internal profiles, paired with a low-stretch Dyneema bridle and SK75 Dyneema flying lines, both with stitched terminations for a clean, consistent connection. Mesh-covered air intakes help keep the leading edge controlled at speed, and an internal dirt channel lets sand move towards the tips for easy cleaning.

When the kite flies over your head or past the edge of the wind window, the Cross Kites Pro Twister does not collapse, but instead will drift back into the wind window. This predictable behaviour means you’ll be more confident and capable of dealing with the challenging conditions associated with gusty inland flying. Leaving you more time to enjoy the ride.

Once you've got the feel with it, you can start to do some crazy tricks with your landboard, buggy, ski's or snowboard.
