The Cross Kites Pro Uniq TR is a 3-line single-skin trainer kite. Single-skin means no closed cells that need to inflate and hold air, keeping the kite light, simple, and highly resistant to hard crashes.
It flies at a calm, steady pace, building pull gradually as it moves across the wind window rather than accelerating hard through one section. That makes it easy to read: steering gives a clear response, power builds progressively, and mistakes cost far less than they would on a kite holding pressurised air inside.
The third line adds two things. First, safety: because the canopy holds no enclosed air, pulling the safety line takes the flying shape out of the kite almost instantly, so the pull disappears fast and there's no complicated sequence to remember. Second, relaunch: if the kite lands with its leading edge down, the same line helps bring it back into position without walking over to it.
The Crosskites Pro 3-line bar carries clear colour coding throughout, red for the left line, black for the right, and blue for the safety line, making setup and untangling straightforward.
The canopy uses a lightweight 40D nylon shell, paired with a low-stretch Dyneema bridle and SK75 Dyneema flying lines, both with stitched terminations for a clean, consistent connection.
