The Crosskites Spark is a 3-line kite built as an accessible introduction to real powerkiting, for anyone ready to move beyond recreational 2-line flying. It's robust and straightforward, complete with the controls and safety features you need, without turning the kite into an expensive specialist product. Available in 1.3, 1.8, and 2.5m² sizes.
The planview, cell spacing, canopy curve, profile, and bridle work together to create a kite that's stable enough to learn with, while still producing the speed and pull that make powerkiting exciting. The focus is on predictable behaviour, useful power, and easy control, using sensible, durable materials rather than chasing the lowest possible weight.
The Spark comes with a compact 3-line bar and a dedicated third safety line. Steering stays simple and intuitive under normal flying, and if the power becomes too much, the third line brings the kite down and takes the load out of the system. That same line also helps relaunch the kite from the ground without walking over to reposition it.
Every line has a coloured sleeve, so it's immediately clear which connection belongs where, less uncertainty during setup, more time flying. Bold, tough colour combinations suit its place in the range, looking more purposeful than the recreational models while keeping the uncomplicated CrossKites character.
Across the three sizes, the 1.3m² is quick and manageable, the 1.8m² balances agility and pull, and the 2.5m² adds a noticeably more powerful experience, giving the pilot room to build confidence at every stage.
