The Duotone Pro Wam is aimed at the rider looking for a more traditional shape, yet still wanting maximum performance. By using a straightforward design approach, Duotone have created a finely tuned high performance board aimed to suit the power surfing style of some of our top pro riders when the waves are firing.
The Pro WAM is the ultimate high-performance all-rounder. The fuller outline makes the Pro WAM slightly more compact than most traditional squash tail shortboards and is the key to its unique do it all abilities. It has excellent handling in light winds and smaller waves while still retaining the impressive high speed and sought after big wave performance that riders love.
The Pro WAM excels in most conditions from small to large waves. It is the one board does it all board for all your travels, being capable of handling all sorts of conditions. The subtle grab rail, optimized volume distribution and double concave deck complete one of the most impressive surfboards in the Duotone range. This season also as a 5´6 version for lighter riders.
It’s a light, fast and responsive big wave machine in a classic surf shape, perfect for medium to big waves. The board has a moderate single concave, with a medium entry rocker and a relatively straight rocker out to the tail. This helps to make it fast enough to handle some of the biggest breaks in the world.
By utilising the Light Team Construction the board remains quick and nimble in smaller waves too.
This board is made for the best waves in the world, from Hawaii’s North Shore to the likes of Cabo Verde and Mauritius the Pro Wam loves big, fast and challenging conditions. Duotone Pro Wam 5'8":
Developed for lighter riders, this board gives you controlled, bounce-free bottom turns and snappy cutbacks. Rider Weight: 55 to 75kg
Duotone Pro Wam 5'10":
Designed for medium to heavier weight riders, this board works in everything from small to big surf. Great drive and control through the bottom turn allows you to go more vertical than you've ever gone before. Rider Weight: 70kg to 90kg
Duotone Pro Wam 6'0":
Designed for heavier riders, this board has the same snappy turns and high peformance as the smaller boards for early planing and great upwind performance. This board also works great a a light wind tool for lighter or medium weight riders. Rider Weight: 85kg+
