Description

The second version of the F-One Eagle X V2 builds on the DNA of the original, refining its performance with a new profile towards the tips, designed for even more glide, a stronger forward drive, and better control in every manoeuvre. While the outline remains unchanged and instantly recognizable, this profile evolution delivers a clear and tangible performance gain, and even more stability.

Designed for intermediate to advanced riders, this latest Eagle X keeps its high aspect ratio of 12 and its focus on speed across the bumps, while offering increased control and enhanced stability thanks to the new profile.

When downwinding, the improvement stemming from the new profile is immediately noticeable. By reducing lift at the extremities, the foil is more balanced and stable, without excessive power at the tips. This results in increased glide, forward projection and speed, allowing you to attack the run even more, all without sacrificing its low end. Every pumping movement is efficiently converted into forward motion, making long downwinders more dynamic, engaging, and less physically demanding.

Most of the foil’s surface area continues to be distributed in the centre, ensuring good manoeuverability, which is particularly valuable for a foil with such a high aspect ratio. Its new profile and more neutral wingtips also give the EAGLE X better control in terms of manoeuverability.

This makes the Eagle X even smoother and more reassuring when carving downwind, with more progressive and controllable power increases. It also allows you to tackle steeper bumps that may have previously seemed daunting, while the additional roll makes the foil more versatile in tighter surfing.

The Eagle X offers a wide speed range, making it easy to maintain a high average speed while still accessing strong top-end performance. Its efficient low end allows comfortable take-offs and sustained flight, even when conditions ease. Therefore, the foil can go very fast as well as very slow, enabling comfortable and easy downwinders with a high average speed.

Its optimized construction and revised carbon layup guarantees the right balance of stiffness and weight, delivering a foil that remains precise and reactive at speed.

Whether DW SUP foiling or wing foiling, the Eagle X is built for riders looking to push further, go faster, and fully harness the ocean’s energy. Fast when you want it, smooth when you need it, it’s always ready to turn every swell, bump, or long run into an unforgettable ride.

Titan 2 Connection:

The Titan 2 connection introduces a revised design to deliver even greater efficiency, rigidity, and reliability at the critical junction between the mast and foil.

Building on the compact, stiff, easy-to-assemble format that made the original Titan so effective, the Titan 2 now uses only two M8 screws and benefits from a reinforced structural connection. The result is improved precision and responsiveness, all while maintaining excellent hydrodynamic performance.

Riders will therefore benefit from a more direct feel underfoot, improved pumping, and a stronger connection to the foil in all conditions. This added stiffness also allows riders to stand higher on the mast, which helps reduce drag and optimize glide.

Ultra HM Carbon:

The High Modulus Carbon fibre layup is 1.5x stiffer than the regular carbon fibre used in other constructions. The percentage of high modulus fibre has been carefully adjusted to obtain the best stiffness in both bending and torsion while keeping enough comfort for any kind of practice.

The UHM Carbon fibre layup helps you reach the next level in terms of rigidity, precision, instant feedback, and control, giving you the edge you need for superior performance. Incorporated on select foils, it is the perfect choice for those who demand the best.

The Ultra High Modulus (UHM) Carbon fibre layup is 1.2x stiffer than our High Modulus (HM) Carbon fibre, and 1.8x stiffer than regular carbon fibre.

The profile of the Eagle X, where UHM Carbon fibre has been incorporated, is exceptionally thin, thus demanding the use of even more rigid fibres to ensure it also matches the stiffness standards synonymous with the F-ONE identity.

Monobloc Front Wing:

Having a stiff and solid assembly between all the parts of the foil is key to making it perform at its best as well as easy to handle.

The connection of the front wing with the fuselage is highly stressed and loaded, so it is one of the critical areas of the assembly in terms of structures.

The Monobloc front wings are molded together with the fuselage in one shot, thereby removing the connection and the chances for unwanted and parasitic movements.

The structural fibres of the fuselage are spread into the wing to achieve the smoothest and lightest connection.

It is also incredibly stiff and provides absolute control at all times, with the foil responding perfectly to all of the riders’ input.

When the overall dimensions are too large for convenient transportation, a connection is set into the fuselage, behind the mast where the loads are smaller.

Pre-Preg Technology:

Pre-preg makes the foils stiffer and stronger. With pre-preg fabrics, the carbon fibre is directly impregnated with epoxy resin by its manufacturer. This guarantees a perfect ratio between epoxy and carbon and represents the highest quality process. It is then cured at high temperature, bringing strength and durability.
