Stable and easy to handle, the F-One Shadow is designed to surf any kinds of waves and conditions. It benefits from a very well balanced and really intuitive shape. This board is able to carve short turns as well as long and fast curves effortlessly.
Its shape and round pintail continue to offer the best glide and a manoeuverability like no others. Designed to inspire confidence in every turn and rail-to-rail transfers, the camel deck and its moderate volume deliver the perfect amount of control.
This year, the Shadow features a slightly deeper concave on the bottom in the area between the front and back feet, which increases its speed and planning potential. The board thus carries more speed and goes upwind better in order to catch even more waves. This new Shadow feels even more at ease in a larger variety of waves, and it will surprise you with its acceleration potential in the turns, effortlessly projecting you to the next move or the next section.
The transition to the tail is slightly wider, which straightens the outline of the board in the area between the feet. This brings increased stability for a more relaxed ride and better low end, hence unveiling a new potential in lighter winds. The rails are sharper and thinner toward the tail as well, allowing for better control and crispier turns.
Perfectly balanced and comfortable, this Shadow handles speed exceptionally well and loves to make long carves just as much as super snappy turns. Changing feet, turning, and jibing are easy and effortless. It feels lively underfoot, providing a lot of feedback to engage big or for powerful vertical turns. Big, clean, and especially powerful waves suit this board and its high reactivity best, where it can truly show its speed potential and fantastic carving abilities.
The Shadow is constructed using the HD Foam Flex Composite technology, with optimized flex for maximum reliability, comfort, and maneuverability. The mechanical characteristics achieved by this construction provide a lighter weight and a perfect, classical surfboard feel.
Shock absorbers are placed under the pad to increase the board’s durability and provide extra comfort since they effectively absorb all impacts for the riders.
Available in 5’4, 5’6 and 5’8. All sizes are equipped with a full pad and foot straps inserts. The 5’4 board come with a set of the F-ONE Flow Carbon XS fins. The 5’6 and 5’8 come with a set of F-ONE Flow Carbon M fins.

Strapless Fun:
Generally kitesurfers are used to having straps that attach you to the board. Well it is no longer that simple and obvious. Riding strapless is just unbelievable fun. Standing freely on the board that is moving very fast brings much more emotions to the whole aspect of riding. The challenge of just riding and cruising make it so different and challenging that everybody should try it. The carving feeling when everything relies on the riders position and balance is multiplied by 10. Pure fun.
Surfing:

A smaller sized thruster board intended for lightweight riders. Its shape is very compact and nimble in the waves.
F-One Shadow 5'6 (167 x 47cm) Surf Board (Volume 21 Litres):
A great allround thruster board intended for light to medium sized riders. Its shape is very compact and balanced. This is a great board for use with straps whenever there are waves. Its slightly wider shape design helps to catch some slower waves and still surfs great in the real fast and big waves. This board is perfect for intermediate / medium sized riders.
