Description

North's one-strut performer is engineered using more durable, flexible and lightweight N-Max2 airframe material* for a faster response, smoother steering and more dynamic recovery. For 2025, North have updated the canopy shape and angle of attack in the wingtip to help minimise flutter and provide more depower.

The leading edge shape and diameter are refined, with slightly more backward sweep in the wingtips. North have also repositioned the leading edge bridle attachment to match the swept trailing edge, which, in turn, gives you better control. More depower, bigger wind range.

*N-Max2 material is 8% lighter than standard Dacron (156gsm), with greater bias flexibility for smoother and more dynamic steering.

The Code Zero is a highly efficient kite with a wide wind range and impressive power delivery for a one-strut kite – so you can ride lighter wind conditions with a smaller kite.

Efficient lightwind power delivery:

A light, fast, reactive single-strut performer, easy to control in one hand. Ideal for foil and waveriding, the Code Zero flies and turns quickly - with excellent drift and manoeuvrability.

Smoother aerodynamics:

To minimise flutter and increase depower, we’ve updated the LE shape and diameter, canopy shape and the angle of attack in the wingtip. Small battens on the TE help to stabilize canopy.

N-Max2 Pro Airframe:

One of the lightest single-strut kites ever designed, its durable and lightweight airframe improves consistency and tear strength and has greater bias elongation for more dynamic steering.

Undyed N-HTRS Canopy:

More environmentally conscious undyed material saves a significant amount of water (5000L) during production while maintaining high-tenacity ripstop lightness, tear strength, and zero porosity.

Stable balanced geometry:

Ideal for learning to kite or foil in light winds, with intuitive relaunch and reverse launch, even tensioning for easy one-handed steering, and good upwind capability.

Bridle optimised for more control:

Bridle attachment points are repositioned to match the swept LE, which, in turn, gives you better control. The bridle points sit on the intersegments, ensuring a more direct/solid feel.

Lightweight bladders:

The lighter weight bladder material matches the refined lighter construction method for a super lightweight kite with the fastest response and turning speeds possible.

Increased depower and bigger range:

More durable and flexible lightweight N-Max2 airframe material is optimised for better consistency and durability, a smoother response, more direct steering and more dynamic recovery.

HyperFlow rapid inflation:

Ergonomic high volume single point inflation system with large diameter hose for rapid inflation and deflation. The bayonet style valve is compatible with most pumps without an adaptor.

Trailing Edge reinforcement:

Two layers of canopy on TE for optimal tension keep the canopy smooth, allowing it to twist better and helping the kite fly faster through the sky. Small battens stabilize sizes 9, 10, 11, and 14m.

Compact, travel-friendly size:

Packs into lightweight recycled PET kite bag with Foil Assist, mesh windows for ventilation, zipper pockets for spare parts and storage, a Control System pocket and kite pump holder.

The Navigator Control System raises the bar in kite safety, connecting you intuitively to your kite so you can think less and feel more. North have taken premium leading technology materials and applied simplified ergonomic design for precise performance with ease and comfort. Sensing your kite's position just became second nature.

Single Action Reload:

Connect Quick Release with intuitive single action reload raises the bar in kite control system safety. The red Quick Release handle has been ergonomically designed to fit in your hand comfortably for an industry standard push away release.

Toolless Interloop:

Push, twist, pull, lock and go. Our Toolless InterLoop makes the customer experience effortless when swapping between disciplines.

Tactile Offset Finger Bar:

For an ergonomic grip and intuitve feel when the control bar is orientated correctly.

Low Friction Co-Efficient Materials:

All loaded or running surfaces feature highly polished 316 stainless steel and low-friction components to enable fast, safe releases in a wide range of conditions.

Integrated Retractable Line Winder Bungee:

Prevents tangled lines when packed up. Bungee retracts out of the way when not in use.

Leader Line PU Tubing Covers:

To help prevent line abrasion from uncovered lines against your skin, while colour-coded PU tubing covers where the leaders come out of the float help them remain rigid and out of the way when the flying lines aren't under tension.

Cleated Trim System:

Provides industry proven depower on demand.

Kook-Proof Line Connectors:

Ensure you always set up your lines correctly. Designed to be exactly the same length so you can easily change the front (knotted end) and rear (larks head loop) connectors to match most other manufacturers kite configurations.
