The Ozone Pocket Rocket Ultra-X model takes the all-round Pocket Rocket V2 blueprint to the absolute limit, using premium lightweight performance materials and precision engineering for maximum float, tiny packdown size, rapid redeployment and light-breeze performance.

The Ultra-X flies in almost no wind and hangs in the air effortlessly during downwind transitions. When you turn towards the wing it floats reliably without falling out of the sky, giving you complete confidence to commit to technical turns and manoeuvres without worrying about slack lines.

Up to 16% Weight Savings & ~20% Less Pack Volume:

Premium 10D (25g) canopy fabric paired with 27g hard-finished rib materials drastically cuts weight and bulk, creating the ultimate compact wing for stashing.

All-New Monobloc Carbon Control Bar (90g):

ULTRALIGHT CONSTRUCTION & PRECISION LOAD-TARGETED RIB CUTOUTS:

To shave off every possible gram without compromising structural strength, the internal ribs undergo a targeted weight-reduction process. By removing non-structural material and leaving only what is required to distribute the loads, weight is minimized while preserving full canopy integrity (giving the ribs their distinct cutout appearance).

Combined with 10D (25g) canopy fabric and 27g hard-finished rib material, total weight is reduced by up to 16% with a ~20% reduction in packing volume.

OPTIMISED 5.7M & 6.5M LIGHT-WIND ARCHITECTURE:

Instead of offering smaller 1.9m and 2.4m sizes which are available in the standard Pocket Rocket V2 —where weight savings offer diminishing returns—the Ultra-X lineup focuses heavily on the light-wind threshold:

Two additional cells integrated into the 5.7m and 6.5m sizes refine canopy shaping, smoothing out the leading edge (LE) for increased lift and glide in soft breezes.

The new 6.5m model drops the minimum wind range down to 8 knots for ultimate light-wind performance.

COLOUR-CODED, SPLICED & SPECIALLY COATED BRIDLE SYSTEM:

The colour-coded bridle setup utilises stiff, specially coated and spliced line materials that feel very smooth in your hands. Lines hand-slide effortlessly, resist tangles, prevent skin rash during quick handling, and allow for lightning-fast redeployment.

90G MONOBLOC CARBON CONTROL BAR:

At just 90 grams, the 35cm Monobloc Carbon Bar offers an ideal ergonomic balance between stashing convenience and direct steering feedback:

HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO WINGFOILING OR KITESURFING?

• The Pocket Rocket V2 Ultra-X produces similar power per size to an inflatable wingfoil wing, but flies more like a kite due to its bridled structure. 
• Offers stronger initial downwind pull than a wingfoil wing
• To get going and come up on the foil, let the board be pulled in the downwind direction that the Pocket Rocket naturally first wants to pull you.
• Once riding, use the bar for smooth power control and adjust your angle for upwind progress.
