The Peter Lynn Lynx V5 depower foil is your ticket to endless snowkite, landboarding and buggying sessions. Kiters just starting out will appreciate the kites smooth and constant power delivery and superb stability. Intermediate riders will enjoy the kite’s acceleration and excellent response through the control bar and even advanced riders will be amazed by the kite’s performance in more challenging conditions.

The Peter Lynn Lynx is rigged with incredibly strong and safe frictionless Ronstan® Orbit block pulleys, a comfortable self landing handle and a flag out safety system that keeps you safe in emergency situations.

As the Lynx has a medium aspect ratio, open cell depower foil with a 5th line safety, it offers plenty of smooth and controllable power and is very responsive to bar input. It is this stability and predictable flight behaviour that makes the Lynx perfectly suitable for experienced riders that need a safe high wind engine. Yet it is designed to be as easy and user friendly as possible to guarantee a great kiting experience even for riders just getting into the sport.

From your first lessons on the snow to learning how to jump, freeriding and unhooked freestyling, the Peter Lynn Lynx does it all.

The Lynx’s ease of use makes it the perfect depower foil for riders of any skill level, whether you are just getting to grips with depower or are a seasoned veteran looking for a stable wind engine. The Lynx features a stop and go system that completely shuts down power quickly and safely, yet the kite is extremely easy to get back in the air again.

100% Depower Safety:

The Lynx features a 5th line specifically designed to ensure safe landings or safe releases in tricky situations. The safety line acts like an extra bridle which is connected to the sides of the kite: by pulling the 5th line, the kite safely compacts into a bundle, immediately eliminating 100% of the kites power.

Agile Yet Highly Stable:

The medium Aspect Ratio wing is designed to be as stable as possible in all, different conditions. The specially designed Dyneema® bridle results in a highly responsive and quick turning wing.

Peter Lynn Commander Control Bar and Lines:

The new Commander bar has been updated to meet the standard needs of any rider and at an affordable price. The Commander bar is a safe and easy bar with industry standard parts and requires little maintenance. The Quick Release system operates very simple and is easy to recover after it has been released. The Commander snow bar comes in 52cm and is made for all and snow kites. The Commander Snow comes with 22 meter lines, a 5-line safety system, a self-landing handle and extra loops for the groundstake.

ISO 21853 Safety Standard for Quick Release Systems Certified

The PLKB Compass Bar comes with the The ISO standard 21853 certification. This certificate has been introduced in 2020 to standardise and saftey check all quick releae systems. It shows that the Quick Release has been tested and shall withstand a load of three times the maximum user weight of 120kg equal to 3 600 N, without any breakage and shall still function as intended.

One-Hand Recovery:

The PLKB Compass bar has been designed to be as easy as possible. You can easily recover the opened Quick Release when laying in the water hanging on to your kite. WIth a simple 'click' you can push the QR Loop back and continue riding.

Ceramic Ball Bearing:

The PLKB Compass bar comes with a Ceramic ball bearing swivel. This makes twisting the bar super smooth and keeps your lines untwisted. The Ball bearing is open so sand can flushes out easily.

Twisting Safety Connector:

To keep the Safety Line in good condition it should not be twisted. Because the connector is placed behind het ball bearing, it unwinds automatically.

Clamcleat with Velcro Lock:

The Trimline and Clamcleat have been developed to create a perfect lock for easy power adjustment. When your kite is depowered. The grab handle can be locked to the side of the clamcleat with the Velcro Lock.

Dyneema SK75 425KG Lines 22m:

The Compass bar has been made with only the highest quality SK75 lines. These lines can handle up to 425KG and are braid to perfection. Lines with Anti-twist, Minimal Stretch and UV-protected for maximum durability and safety. All lines are black with color coded connectors for kook proof attachment. The Power Lines are split after 8m to prevent your bar from sliding all the way to the kite after pulling the safety.
