Ride Engine Saber Waist Harness

Designed using the same proprietary data that created the Carbon Elite hard-shell shape, the frame of the Ride Engine Saber is built with a slightly more pliable composite material for the kitesurfer or windsurfer that wants a bit more freedom in their ride.

The injected-molded shell has purpose-driven contours that deliver increased torsional flex while still providing the full benefits of Lumbar Lock fit with that coveted Ride Engine locked-in feel.

The Saber comes equipped with Unity Ladder-Lock Straps so it’s ready to plug into our Unity Spreader Bar, eliminating spreader bar twist and maximum connectivity. Now with a 25% reduction in weight.

Riders are often forced to rotate their harnesses from side to side to get pull from the proper angle when carving upwind, riding toeside or catching waves.

This range of motion requires a looseness in the harness that also allows vertical and torsional movement, resulting in rider discomfort, constricted breathing, pull from the wrong angle and a variety of other issues.

With the Saber's hard-shell Lumbar Lock technology, the harness does not rotate or slide; it locks in place and stays exactly where it should. This means lateral motion must come from the spreader bar.

• Lumbar Lock : Harness conforms to lumbar, back and sides to lock securely in place. Harness won’t slide from side to side or ride up.
• SES Shell : Provides UV Resistance, Impact Strength, Abrasion Resistance, plus Water and Tear Resistance. Not only will the SES give you added durability to extend the life of your harness, it also improves the overall fit and function of the harness. Enhanced ergonomics ensure that you get the maximum support out of your harness.
• Handle Pass and Forward-Mounted Leash Attachments: For freestyle riders, the harness comes with handle-pass-leash mount around the back (which is easy to remove for windsurfing). It also has two, right and left, forward-mounted D-ring leash attachment points for use when a short leash is utilized.
• Low Profile Design: Low profile framework contributes to a perfect fit and maximum mobility while keeping the harness locked in place and eliminating pressure points.
• Fusion Foam:  Super soft and ergonomic foam conforms to the shape of your torso for ultimate comfort and hold. Your harness will feel like it’s part of your body.
• Full Neoprene Wrap Liner: Minimal-seam construction of a full-neoprene wrap conforms to the body, creating a rash-free interface.
• Easy Entry Adjustment: Single closure waist belt for easy entry and adjustment.
• Anti-Slip Webbing: Softer, more pliable anti-slip webbing. This new tighter weave durometer makes fit adjustment easy to manipulate while at the same time prevents slipping and loosening of the harness straps during your session.
