Description

The Slingshot Misfit V12 is a time-tested design perfect for general freeride kiters who want a twin tip they can use anywhere, in any condition. The Misfit features a mild rocker and a relatively stiff flex pattern, making it a board that cuts up wind and beats through chop exceptionally well.

With a flatter and faster rocker line combined with a nice, mellow single-concave hull, you get one of the smoothest and driest rides out of any twin tip on the market.

This new outline reduces board drag as well as giving it a smoother release from the water. With a new tip and tail profile, riders will experience less spray in the face and more forgiving landings when learning new tricks. Still featuring a space age hybrid Koroyd and wood core, the new Misift is rewriting the formula of the progressive freeride twin tip. This board has been a Slingshot cult favourite, world renowned as one of the best all around twin tips in the world.

Slingshot Dually Pad System:

The Dually pad and strap system includes an advanced dual density ergonomic pad. The new footstrap offers dual zonal technology with 4x4 micro adjustability. Micro adjustment can be used to customize the fore and aft positioning at 4 different points.

The Dually also offers 4 vertical points of adjustment for a customized fit to the contour of your foot.

The possibilities for a custom fit are controlled exclusively by the rider for maximum comfort and control. In addition the Dually includes our new bolt-on baseplate.

It mounts easily to your board and offers limitless duck and stance options.

X-Core Nucleus:

The stiffest board in the lineup, the Misfit V12 features our X-Core Nucleus construction. This multiaxial layup stiffens the belly but allows the tip and tail to flex, giving the rider a more predictable ride with ultimate performance. The edge of the X-Core nucleus can also act as a grab rail for easy in and out of the water for those attempting board-offs.

Single Concave Hull:

Provides smooth tracking and effortless upwind performance. This added grip provides traction for riding with speed and power, yet is easy to manage for all ability levels.

Single Shot Fusion Sidewall:

Single Shot Fusion Sidewall incorporates cork to enhance the board’s ability to absorb chop while kiting. This advanced sidewall design not only enhances the boards’ performance in rough conditions but also enhances durability.

Dura Light Base:

This 0.2mm base material is the ideal strength to weight ratio. Lightweight performance in a strong and durable package.

Naca Tech Channels:

Laser-cut parabolic channels direct water like a vacuum from the middle of the board through the tail. This directed water accelerates through the channel and increases the board’s speed and grip on the water.

Strategic Carbon Bedrock Inserts:

Light, flexible and durable inserts that maintain the board’s flex underfoot for a consistent feel from tip to tail.

Atomic Wood Core:

Sustainably grown Paulownia wood gives boards a lively and springy character. The vertically laminated construction optimizes the collective strength of the wood and provides strength, durability, and consistent flex.

As an added layer of protection, we finish every board with a full urethane rail to protect from inevitable mishaps and impacts with hard objects. We’ve added vibrant urethan colours give the visual pop distinct to Slingshot.
