Carbon Forged Construction:
A new Carbon Forged Construction is our lightest and strongest build to date. This board is seriously tech with Unidirectional Carbon, rail wraps, and bamboo/fiberglass sandwich. To top it all off, the bottom has been sanded down to the layup, meaning any excess weight has been removed.
Compressed Curve Outline:
The new trend of disk-shaped boards is in. Slingshot chose to keep a classic surf look with our Compressed Curved Outline concept. This keeps the board at a greater overall length but allows the water to flow along the rails more efficiently. It also allows for greater stability in the pitch, meaning you have a better chance of getting up onto foil while on a smaller wing. These things, combined with a medium-width outline, give the rider the ability to employ sharp carves and hacks while maintaining control over their foil.
Shed Deck:
The Flow Craft features a new shed deck system. This “scoop” out of the deck allows the rider to have their feet closer to the foil while still maintaining volume in the board. The Shed Deck also gives your knees something to brace against while going from sitting to standing.
Concave Nose:
The Concave Nose on the Flow Craft is meant to channel water along the bottom of the board. By doing this, the board receives smoother touchdowns and has the ability to plane much sooner. These make the ride experience that much more enjoyable.
EVA Scrape Strip:
This extra strip of EVA helps prevent scratches and cracks on the nose of your board while setting up your foil while the board is upside down. In addition, when walking out of the water, the ability to set down your board anywhere to take a break or chat with other wingers does not risk the integrity of your nose.
Gore-Tex Vent Plug:
The GORE-TEX Vent Plug is the most premium vent plug one can use. This plug requires no maintenance, meaning there is no need to check whether your plug is screwed down when going on the water, or unscrewed when sitting in the sun. This vent plug self-regulates, meaning the stress of heat impact on your board is thrown out the door.
Max Trax:
These are the longest foil tracks on the market, meaning any foil can be placed on the bottom and your ability to fine-tune foil placement is the greatest it's ever been.
