Great Intermediate Lifting Kite! George Muren

I wanted a kite that was a slightly higher performance kite than my current kite but nothing to high performance that is was going to launch me into the air without asking for it!

The Peter Lynn Twister was the one for me as I can use it for all-round buggying and the occasional jumps on my landboard. It has great power delivery and the overall handling was nice and easy!

It has good power throughout the turns and is also excellent in the gusty conditions. I have been suitable impressed with mine and I am very happy to own one!

After doing a lot of researching I decided to go for the Peter Lynn Twister as a lot of the reviews I had read and people I spoke to who owned one said that it was a super stable kite and ideal for learning and progressing with - how right could they were!

 

I have had the kite for almost a year now and can confirm that after the initial few sessions the handling of the kite became familiar and this allowed me to concentrate more on my landboarding skills than constantly staring at the sky. It has awesome power delivery and once you have the basics mastered the 5.6m size - will allow you to keep on learning and developing in the sport.

 

The speed you can get up on a landboard is astonishing and the lift generated by this kite is phenomenal, that said be careful and show some common sense. When I was learning I took it out in circa. 12-15mph winds but there was gusts of up to 27mph showing on the wind meter which I (stupidly) chose to ignore. This lead to me being lifted, unexpectedly, at least 30ft off the deck which for me was a huge wake up call.

 

Provided you learn at a steady pace and don't kid yourself about your capabilities you will have a fantastic time with this or any of the other 4 line ram air foils available.

Really Good All-Round Larger Foil! Neil Ovington

 

This is an excellent kite for anybody wanting some extra lift on landboards.

 

Flies best for me (12st.) in 10-15mph wind range. Can be flown in lower winds but must be constant not gusty. Lifts effortlessly, with smooth landing.

 

Manouverability, not the fastest, but thats to be expected with this size. Gives tremendous pull for anybody wanting speed.

 

A really good all round, larger foil. Superb quality and very stable, but be warned the 7.7m generates some serious power.
